Bee hive in nature

Welcome to The Mulberry Bush

There's a hive of activity here and we'd love to show you around.

At our family-owned small holding, which nestles in the Chiltern Hills, we have vegetables growing, bees buzzing, a small apple orchard, a wildlife pond and a vibrant community of people connecting through nature-based activities.

The evolution of The Mulberry Bush has been inspired as much by our connection with The Woodcraft Folk, (a youth organisation) as our experience of living on the land.  Our ethos is to encourage people to enjoy, love and cherish Nature and to work together for a future that enhances and safeguards the natural environment.

We have, over many years, opened the field for Woodcraft camps so that children can make new friends, enjoy outdoor activities and have adventures in the wild. Recently we redeveloped The Croft space for Home-Ed groups to meet as well as for craft and wellbeing workshops.  And in this last 12 months we have supported MarKate, (a new food growing business); developed a treatment room in The Stables and hosted a mini–Folk Festival in The Dell.

Nature helps to keep the glass half full and rose-tinted, so we are excited about the future. Seeds will spread & buds will flower!

If you would like to find out more about our spaces, events or activities please get in touch.
